Morning
Your chauffeur/ guide will meet you at the Beach hotel where you stay, Morning approx 5:00 Am transfer to Kandy. The route from your beach hotel takes you through broad acres of growing rice fields (paddy), coconut palms and a picturesque landscape. En route visit Elephant Orphanage, On the way to Kandy a stop can be made at a Tea factory & Tea Plantation to see the process of making tea, the factory outlet sells fresh Ceylon tea to anyone interested in buying some. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Started in 1975 home to the worlds largest collection of orphans ,Providing a caring home for abandoned and wounded elephants, it is a much loved destination for tourists and locals alike. Here, adults and baby elephants from around Sri Lanka thrive, and a captive breeding program is also proving to be highly successful. The feeding and bathing times are generally the ideal times to visit when you can observe these gentle giants at their best.

Kandy is a major city in Sri Lanka, located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. It is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings' era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.
 
Royal Botanical Gardens – Peradeniya
Royal Botanical Garden, Peradeniya is situated about 5.5 km to the west from the city of Kandy in the Central Province of Sri Lanka and attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of a variety of orchids. It includes more than 4000 species of plants, Some rare and endemics as well as flora from the tropical World. including of orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees Attached to it is the National Herbarium of Sri Lanka. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km2), at 460 meters above sea level, and with a 200-day annual rainfall. It is managed by the Division of National Botanic Gardens of the Department of Agriculture.
