Morning
Your chauffeur/ guide will meet you at the Beach hotel where you stay, Morning approx 4:00 Am Transfer to Mirissa for Whale watching, ( start 7:00 Am – 11:30 Am) Whale and dolphin watching are exciting and unique activities of Mirissa, and are the first and longest whale watching place on the south coast of Sri Lanka. The frequent sighting all year round has put Sri Lanka and the Mirrissa area on the worlds ‘Top Hot Spots’ for sperm and blue whale sightings. The blue whales are frequently seen during the first half off the South and West Coast of Sri Lanka, which is part of their migration pattern. The period between November and April is also a good time for dolphins. We often have been accompanied by pods of spinner dolphins during your trips.

Whale & Dolphin Watching
Regularly see large pods of dolphins and, in the migration season, blue whales can be found just a few miles offshore. Minimum numbers of people are four.

Normally total trip duration is 4 hours or 4.5 hours, it will depend on the condition of the sea. Boat has roof, seats, and toilet facilities. Boats have life raft, life jacket, life rings and communication equipments. ( light breakfast includes)

Afterwards proceed to Galle.

Afternoon
After lunch – Enjoy Heritage city of Galle.

Galle Dutch Fort ( UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE )
For centuries Galle has stood strong against invasions - from colonial powers and nature’s volatile outbursts. The famous Dutch Fort was first built by the Portuguese, fortified by the Dutch and preserved by the British. Battered daily for over 400 years by the ocean it even survived the onslaught of a tsunami and is enjoyed today by residents and visitors alike. The colonial architecture of the walled city too has resisted the advance of modernity and holds tightly to its past glory.

Afterwards proceed to Kosgoda for visit turtle hatchery

Turtle Hatchery
Where you can see several species of turtles, specially the hawksbill, are endangered. Most vulnerable of all are their eggs, which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast. The good will of Kosgoda area fishermen, who brings these eggs gratis to the hatchery, has led to the hatching and release of 100,000 young turtles in only two years since the hatchery opened. An endowment by the Hasselblad Estate was responsible for the establishment of this hatchery.

After visit turtle hatchery , drive back to the Hotel
